It's an underground code for "This is a stupid sticker so you should rip it off and eat it"

Maybe cowboys and cowgirls now consider themselves to be an oppressed minority group.

Kinda like the whole womens lib movement where they had all the "Girls Can Do Anything" bumper stickers.

Hey watch it now , you're talking about my people here.

cowboy or cowgirl up means the same as Toughen up and deal with it ! When my kids start to cry or something I'll say Cowgirl up and kick some ass!

I have a sticker on my car that says "Save a horse ride a cowboy"

When we'd make failing grades in school my dad would say Cowgirl up you can do it. It's just one of those phrases that mean on thing to someone and another thing to someone else.

Cowboys are known for there toughness so I'd say toughen up would explain it pretty good.

LMAO I just read this to my Mom and she said it meant to ride 8 seconds and fall off breathless

My mom is cool as hell she's still making wise cracks about it now, We're alot alike actually.

When I met D. she said OMG you're in for a lot of quickies then when I got pregnant she said yeah well I guess he made it to the buzzer before he fell off that time.

My in-laws all say this and I have picked it up off them. I try not to say it because it makes me feel like a hick, but it just is such an easy phrase to cut down on whining and needless crying and tantrums.
