I used to use McAfee, it was letting a lot of crap through on to my computer,it slowed my computer down and my computer could not get on to the web for the first 20 minutes, now I am using Avast and it works a treat, I am on line in about three minutes

Avira, sygate firewall, adaware anniversary. That combo should cover your puter.

most viruses are transmitted through e-mail attatchments NEVER open an E-mail if you don't recognise the addy. Also watch out for exe. files.
