Hey Ben, sorry to hear about your symptoms... Your blood pressure is high man, you need to get that sorted.. Do you do any exercise?? Get your heart pumping man, get and lift some weights.. Are you stressed? The pain you get do you think it could be because you are too tense, quite often pain in the chest can be because of too much worrying causing tension in the chest muscles.. Do you suffer with anxiety?? There are a number of reasons for your symptoms but dont post on here man go back to the doctors and tell them you have pains..

What did the doc say when ur BP was taken?

Married with 2 kids... Must be hard to find time to exercise!! Nevertheless man high BP and chest pains mean lose weight.. go to bodybuilding.com and read the articles, even if you arent into it the articles are great and they have fitness programs and nutritional diets and advice.. Really have a "You" overhaul..If you are getting pains often enough before you go to the docs, go to the outpatients in the hospital and tell them they will tell you soon enough if it is your heart or not.. You're a young guy but this is a definate signal for change. Good Luck Ben84 8)

Mine is 140/70 so am I low or high, or both?..Does it mean I'm bisexual!!??

next episode of chest pain go right to A&E, you need ECG monitoring while you are having the pain, not when it is passed.

Man would you just go to A&E or we will come through the monitor and carry you there!

Just go in and say you have a mild pain in your chest you think its nothing to worry about but I wanna get it checked out, go go go get it done today man, it may be nothing then you will stop worrying about dropping dead.. If it is something they will sort you out and then you will stop worrying cos it will be sorted!!!

GOOOOO!!

these guys are all right, they may just be mild today but they could progress into something alot worse if you dont get it under control now! gentle excercise will help your blood pressure, but be sure not to strain yourself in anyway!

There could be a problem with you heart aswell if the chest pains are coinsiding with the bloodpressure,, you have to make sure you understand exactly what high BP can do...Heart attacks are very common with them!

Next time ur having mild chest pains get your self to the A&E and get it monitored, you could be having the warnings of a heart attack. or it may not be anything sever, but at least this way you would be sure of what was going on, you can diagnose whats happen, seek wat you gotta do about it and carry on with peace at mind!

For your own well being hun get yourself to A&E
