best piece of advice your parents gave you?

My dad once said -

"A woman is always right, even if she is wrong"

So true, he is a class gentleman your dad!

I wish I'd listened to the advice my mother gave me as a child.

I always used to call him weak as piss for that, then i tried to argue with a woman.....................

Sadly, i don't remember my Mother ever giving me much advice but i do remember her always saying
"a Mother has a way of finding out everything"
and damn if she didn't!

Now, being a Mom and all, i see what she meant.
