bands such as: trivium bullet for my valentine

these are two metal bands that are doing sucsess with there new songs, tears don't fall and dying in your arms. personaly out of those songs tears don't fall has be my favourite. There are also good metal bands such as nemo, cradle of filth and the legondary slipknot still doing well in my opinion

but sadly i dont agree with the bullet for my valentine comment...
sadly they have become mainstream like all other great bands... they started amazingly when no-one knew who they were... and seeing them play small gigs was seeing them at their best...
now they've hit the good time they have gone down hill... more singing lyrics to please fans rather then to say what they really think in their lyrics.
the guitars and the riffs are still good... so bfmv are a great band until he starts singing!

completely agree, slipknot have done well, are doing well, and are going to do well.
trivium is good because theyr music varies in style, other bands can do lots of song but they may all sound similar, variety is good

yeah slipknot are good but there earlier stuff is better i like Stone Sour and Trivium are good and i agree with elmo about B4MV tears dont fall is a good song and so is all these things but yeah they have got worse since they got big

but still you have to agree it sounds good but i have to agree the lyrics are getting a bit well...worse

but the guitar riffs they preduce still rock...any other comments bout about other bands???

i hate both bands im not a fan of new metal..slipknot are great but im more into trash metal and stuff from the eighties and nintis in general

well just to setlle it they rock lol. o and lordi are amazin i swear they rock like loooooooads

Slipknot = mainstream nu-metal trash

Cradle of Filth = mainstream black metal trash

Trivium is generic metalcore and Bullet for My Valentine isn't metal.

Slipknot relies to much on their image rather than their music. They wear all the masks and s*** to pass themselves off as "hardcore death metal". they want to focus more on impressing hot-topic shoppers more than selling good music. If you want to hear REAL death metal listen to Anasarca. But good luck finding them because they're an underground german death metal. oh what horrible times we live in where s***y poser bands pass themselves off as brutal.....brings tears to my eyes

Yeah I agree that Slipknot is more about their image than anything.
And I don't really see what's so bad about BFMV and Triv, I love both bands, Trivium the most though, and I'm hopefully going to see them start of next year
Along with Tool and the Chili's... Can't wait

I also can't wait for the new trivium album, Detonation is good...but not that special...I hope the rest of the album is better than that one.

I dispise both, yet like a select few of their songs, and have an album of each. Odd.

im not relly into slipknot or bullet for my valentine i dont think bullet for my valentines relly even metal but i like pantera and cob and lamb of god and triviums good
