There are many medications that people take where taking either of the two drugs you mention poses a health risk so I would say if anyone want to start aspirin regimin, they need to ask their doctor or pharmacist first. Its not a blanket that we all fit under and is safe for all to take.

If I take aspirin I'll bleed to death. Ibuprofen can damage your liver. Take nothing without checking with a dr.

Years ago my doc told me to take an asprin a day. Been doing it ever since. Sometimes I use coated and children's asprin.

If you have asthma you should not take ibuprofen or any other NSAID - very bad idea.
