i had a work colleague in the engineering who lost the sight in one eye, due to using one to cool his face down one summer, but it was usually used for blowing metal filings off a machine, a small piece of metal was lodged in the nozzle, and you can get the rest.. the pressure from the hoze simply expelled the item, and hit him straight in the eye, disabled at 18 years old, was the most horrific thing ive ever witnessed in my life, people should not mess with such things.

When I worked in a tractor Mfg. plant, we were told any horseplay involving the air hoses would result in immediate dismissal.
