After arguing that it's for religious purposes, Lindsay Miller, a Pastafarian from the Church of Flying Spaghetti Monsters, has won the right to wear a pasta strainer in her drivers license photo. This woman is my hero.

I just want to be able to wear my glasses.

Like seriously, I am not legally allowed to drive without them, and yet I have to take them off for the picture.

Yeah, each state does it's own laws. This was done in like 2008, because I have worn them before. But the rational is that the glasses confuse facial recognition software, both with false negatives and false positives.
(and people are lazy a** to take the picture without getting glare)

You can't wear anything here, glasses, hats and head covering.

when I get my state id card, and I wear my glasses. of course, I ask if should take my glasses off for the photo.

some people there will ask me take my glasses off, and they see me and go and scream run out of the office. it does take a while, to replace the lady for new girl.

when you are handsome as me, some women can handle my looks, some women can't handle. I tell women, it just a curse, I have. I am so handsome, it is shame, that I am this handsome. in life, you take good with bad. I am suffering.

Its the same in California - a lot of my friends who have bad vision dont have their glasses on in their license photos. I dont get that logic either -_-

It obviously that driver license more like " the proof of life " to id you. of course, if you were in car accident for identification, or if the police is after you. and your driver license is your id.

probably why the glasses are big deal, the police think you use glasses as camouflage your appearance to hide your real face. it just a thought.

the reason why I thought of this above. why is the donor permission card behind both state and driver's license card?

I heard about something like this in Canada a few years ago and it was the same thing: The person legally won the right in court to wear the strainer because it technically is a part of their religion.

I think it has to do with glare. I had to do the same when I got my BCID.

All I know is they won't let you make a face in your picture, but if you walk in and make the face the whole time you're there, they'll assume you're just really ugly and take the picture.

How about clothes? Can you wear any clothes, or do they have to be special? Can you opt out of wearing any clothes, or do they have to be special, too?
