You're not silly. If you love this person then of course you'd want to be with them irrespective of his flaws. However, this is quite a big flaw to forgive so maybe you need to rethink your relationship.

People who tell stories are insulting to my intelligence. Not that I have that much. I just think that if they lack integrity when it comes to truth, then they really don't deserve the respect of friendship, never mind marriage.
