Why do people have to be so rude?

modern day society im afraid!

I always say please and thank you because then the lunch ladies at school like me and I can get more free food

I'm a manipulative beast

im still awake, lol, i know no one has manners any more, especially in my eyes especially foreigners (not being racist in the slightest)

Its the way the kids are brought up

Parents can teach their kids to have proper manners, but they're going to forget. If they're not reinforced over and over again, well, that doesn't help things

Yeah but sometimes it isnt a good thing
The other day my english teacher was giving us out pieces of paper and i said thank you so she said your welcome and when the lesson begun she asked me a question

Manners cost nothing yet get you far

Yeah! Sometimes I can get a free cookie! In theory, I could sell it to someone for 45 cents and actually MAKE a profit

Or I could eat it myself and be a happy girl

That can get a little awkward, but in a good way!

I was coming into school one morning, and I held the door open and the person behind me grabbed it. She said thank you. Then we both got to the stairwell doors on the first floor, I held that door open, she again thanked me. Then we went up to the second floor, and for a third time the cycle repeated itself.
