Who has influenced your life the most?

Who in your life has had the most impact? This could be either positive OR negative. You don't even have to use real names, of course, but it would be nice to hear some real stories.

my sister she is a big mummies girl in the family she is 28yrs old. always gets away with everything.but me i was always pushed aside unless someone was ill.i was like cinderella. she is still centre of attention and she always will b.does that count?

I could go with the basic fall-back answers of my parents/siblings/grandparents, but I am actually going to have to go with my friends. Some more than others, of course, but all of my friends have helped me see things a bit more clearly, even if they did it by leaving my life. I also feel that those friends of mine that encourage me to keep trying new things, and not give up too easily will always have a special spot in my mind. Anyone that gets me thinking in a different direction earns much respect from me, and those that do nothing more than make me laugh are special, too.

this guy i lived with once upon a time... we never actually dated or anything of that sort, but we were like best friends... i honestly think i was in love with him, but i had so many issues at the time there was no way it would have worked out... it was those that actually ended up destroying our friendship as well...

i still think about him from time to time, still miss him... i learned more from that friendship and its downfall than i have learned from any other personal connection... and ive never been the same since... for the better...
