Can you not admin it yourself? Its fairly easy once you get to grips with it, I admin my own online shop and im by no means proficient with a pc, it will be quite expensive for someone else to do it, I got a few quotes, hence why I learned to do it myself.

I agree with Karma Junkie - it shouldn't be too hard to manage yourself. I am a techie and have built worked with the software used behind a lot of online shops, and would be glad to steer you along if you like...

Any advice would be appreciated father of 4. Time is an issue as well. I think that may be a big factor. Trafficking your own site i have heard has been pretty time consuming . Like i said i would appreciate any advice on what and what not to do and thank you for your help

If you are not comfortable updating and managing your site on our own, I guess you can outsource it to a virtual assistant. VAs are techy and would know how to. Just make sure you find the one that will fit your needs.

Hi nick919, first let me start by saying that no one out there is going to maintaine your website like you would. Sure maybe they will update the page daily, maybe responde to an email or two but when it truly comes down to maintaining your site no one is going to put as much time and effort like you would. Being a webmaster myself... I interact with my website each and everyday. As the owner, I want to know what is going on from customer's emails, sales, shipping, product research, product picking, etc. I can tell you this much if I found someone to manage my site I'm sure they are not going to put as much of an effort or time into it like I do.

Go to any outsourcing it company and let them handle your site for a monthly fee.

I saw this ad 10 years later.
do you still need people to do your site?
Do you still have a site? I do business consulting and accounting- virtual/offsite for people/busy entrepreneurs.
if interested PM me, or post at thread I used to post.
Besure you lock off after half an hour so no one can delete / alter what you posted.

Open this web only at library or cybercafé not link to your handset, not with any personal emails accounts so no one can trace you.

I'm confused... why did you start a website if you don't want to run it?
Normally, people start websites in niches they are passionate about and maybe outsource some basic stuff like logo or some coding.
