Times is hard and all that, I'm sure all those who didn't go to them before have had a dabble since the recession or as a poor student...some are better than others depending on where you live so what's you favourite charity shop buy?

Mine is a lady and the tramp mug that I got for 50p and is my favourite tea mug now

I love charity shops and I've been using them for over 30 years. I buy clothes, books, jewellery, you name it. I get a bargain, the charity gets the money they need and decent, usable items are recycled. I can't think of one particular item that's my favourite because I've bought so much but I know that, over the years, I've found some treasures.

I've had a couple of brand new leather jackets for £10 each and a cream suede leather coat for a tenner. oh, and a silky pair of knickers for 20p that were as good as new when I boiled the stains out! Jk!

I think it depends what shop , like the smaller shops tend to be cheaper than the bigger ones such as Oxfam it probably also depends where you live....I've looked through the rails in some round here and they have bloody designer labels there!!

My grandma got me the entire works of Shakespeare for about £2.50. It's so heavy I struggle to pick it up
