What's your favorite band/genre of music?

When I 1st saw this topic I thought it said... what is your favorite gangrene.

It stumped me....

Now that this topic is being revisited, I can answer....

Band: Cowboy Junkies

Genre: Bossanova (if I have to pick one)

Those two choices don't go with each other, but that is the nature of crazy mental gymnastics...you know... dark chocolate caramel sea salt chunks, ginger snaps with slices of gouda cheese and a fine glass of brandy...all served in the wet season of a jungle or on a mountain overlooking a vast desert.... or Jack Daniels and saltine crackers....

I remember CD's!!

But then, I remember vinyl and 8 tracks and cassettes and the Sony Walkman, and going to concerts that weren't auto-tuned.

Now that I've driven the fact that I'm older than rocks, which is almost as old as this tread into the dirt....


Trombone Shorty is a current fave, and my enduring genre is jazz.
