No way! Never been a fan of that growing up under the new wave of British heavy metal! Ugh!

NWBHM was some of the best stuff going, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Saxon, even Def Leppard gets sorta lumped in there too.

I'm an old school 80's metalhead, some of the newer metal isn't as good, but whatever..LOL...

I listen to every genre can't say i have a preference.
I do love music.
What is actually playing at the time though depends on my mood.

I agree about loving music. I love all kinds of music styles. I primary gravitate toward the hard stuff, but I can swing from Frank Sinatra to Massive Attack to George Strait all the way to Ottmar Liebert and then back to Slayer.

It's all good in the neighborhood.

My favorite types of music are hip hop, r and b, as well as modern dance music.

I know these types of songs all sound similar. But I like them anyway because they have a good rhythm and have a lot of energy.

I love finding new little niches of music. Pandora and Spotify along with YouTube to some degree... are great for that.

I find my self trailing off in various Prog categories, and often crossing paths with some nostalgia kickers - I realized I was a prog fan longer than I knew it!

But I find myself falling back to Prog (Crimso) - leaning to metal prog (Dream Theater is too "metal", but Petrucci is great prog!)
