Yeah she was pretty warm. Was a really strong northerly blowing as well.

Seeing some of the temps being recorded in North America. All I can say is give me 45c over -10c (and often colder) any day of the week.

Was just recently -39.8C in Winnipeg, and the wind chill was as cold as -52c. Stuff that for a joke.

Unfortunately the long running drought and extreme heat has resulted in the deaths of many thousands of wild animals. The situation is such that one species of possum is on the verge of extinction after 30-40% of the total population was believed to have perished in the heat.
