Before I go any further, I want to make it clear that, as far as I'm concerned, there is not a single part of an animal's body, or a product that comes from an animal's body, that is appropriate for human consumption, whether or not the body parts in question are contaminated with pathogens. Using animals for our pleasure is wrong, and that remains true whether or not it is also physically harmful to us.

We shouldn't fool ourselves into imagining that the meat industry cares about our safety, or the safety of our children. It would be foolish to expect them to act in an ethically sound manner, since they exist only to make a profit, and the product they provide is ethically deplorable from the outset.

They are making money by taking others' lives? Don't expect them to be concerned about yours.

Eating is a 'pleasure' now is it? I always thought it was essential.

You could just try a mature response to an argument instead, no?

I tend only to give mature responses to mature arguments, something you have continually proved not to be able to do.

So your saying that you dont have an answer.

The reason is that a majority of meat is safe for consumption the only meat that i see that isnt fit for human consumption is meat that isnt meant to be consumed by humans

No, I don't have answers about what's written in The Bible - maybe it's something that the powerful want the less powerful and gullible to believe?

Your comment about The Bible has nothing to do with your comment about the majority of meat - apart from faith I suppose.

It actually does, as fish which is a meat seemed to be safe when there was no form of refrigeration why should be there any change?

You are equating the argument in the original piece about slaughterhouse practices with some story about something which probably did not happen.

Do you take Biblical stories literally?
