What does everyone like about Sarah Palin?

What is it that America sees in this woman? And I am not criticising her, just curious. I mean, almost the entire nation adores her. Is it because she represents feminine power, is a good person, or the ever popular hair-due with the glasses?

I think only republicans like her; after the first week of her announcements, things started cooling down and they definately turned for the worse during her interview with Katie Couric. I doubt the whole nation adores her.

Yeah last time I checked well at least here, Not to many people like her one bit. other than the fact that they would Do her.

Well her and the soccer moms connect because she seems like the happy 50's family everyone wants(besides the daughter being prego) She also attracts evangelical voters probably because of her stance on abortion. And then there are just the people that like her because she is a women, which is like thinking a college professor is super smart because he has a certain hair doo. A.K.A being ridiculous

Republicans like her because she's a somewhat powerful woman with very conservative values.

I respect the fact that she speaks her mind and if you dont like it, dont watch her! She knows what she is talking about and doesnt back down

I believe that suggesting that the American public does not like Gov Sarah Palin is said from a personal perspective and not from a national one. I won't share my opinion of her, but I will make note of the "fan base", (for lack of a better phrase) she has gained. It's a rather large fan base. Americans from all races, all classes, all political viewpoints, are taking note of her, and they like her. Now it's true that some don't. Some really do not, but a huge cross section of the USA really do. Why? She's not from "Washington". She's not poisoned by lobbyists or bribes for votes. She's just Sarah Palin, Alaskan and American. She's intelligent, but she's simple in her communication. She talks straight. Not stupid. Straight. Even if people don't agree with her, they are pleased to see somebody so honest, dishing out straight talk.

Again, I won't say if I support her politically, as I don't feel my opinion is important here. It won't answer your question. I'm just telling you what I have seen. She's like a tornado, sweeping through the election, and making people sit up, to take notice. It's impressive.

Well I don't vote, but just to place a response to the thread, to me she seems strong, yet nonthreatening. Not that it's part of the criteria for election, but I think she's kind of pretty, actually.

not so sure that everyone (or anyone) in america really sees anything (though so many of the Dem's seem so freaked out by her that I have started to question my own judgement that there is not much to her )

but...if anyone broke into the whitehouse and if she had an AR-15 close by, the intruders would quite likely be killed in short order...especially if the intruder were furry.
