What a two-faced douchebag, this Arlen Specter guy...

So, basically, since he realized that there was no way he could win the election, he switched parties! wtf?? after 25 years of advocating for what the Republicans stood for, he decides to switch because of his own political agenda. He said so himself "I'm not going to let my 25 years of political carreer be decided by the pennsylvanian republican primary vote." (or something like that. that's not the exact quote, but its close)

anyways, i'm sure he has great views and ideas, pero que fresco!! it just shows the allegience of a man like that. i don't respect him much...

He'll do anything to collect a decent government paycheck at the expense of the loyal voters who expected some kind of loyalty from him.

If I were Democratic, I wouldn't even want him in there. Sure, that'd mean they'd have 60 almost sure-fire votes for anything they'd like to pass, but at what cost? it's like selling your soul for a vote. Perhaps that sounds a bit dramatic, but it's true. I wouldn't even want a guy like that around me...

Ben Nighthorse Cambell did the same thing, and got reelected despite it. Don't put it past Pennsylvania voters to do the same thing.
