For me, it's probably either Green Day's Insomniac or Spacehog's Resident Alien.

What's yours?

The more I think about it, the less decisive I get.

Drama by Yes
I Robot - Alan Parsons Project
UmmmaGumma - Pink Floyd
In the Court of the Crimson King - King Crimson

I used to have a thread on here "Album Covers A to Z" ... I guess it died an unceremonious death-purge of apathy

And with all this digital download crap, the recognition of the art of album covers is getting lost.

Good choices. Meant to throw in pics for mine too for easy access. Thanks for the reminder.

I have never purchased an album, which I believe refers to music published on a plastic disk. Back in the dark ages, publishers used a plastic called vinyl to manufacture the albums. People used a device called a record player, hifi, or stereo to reproduce the music.

Until recently I had never seen a vinyl album, but after my grandmother died, I helped my grandfather sell her stuff at garage sales. She had boxes of Barbara Steinsand albums.

According to Gramps, he has a favorite album: Port Said.

He says he liked it because it had a picture of a topless belly dancer on the front.

The Who...

Every album cover from Yes... great art...

Alan Parson Project... the reference might be drugs... or just life...
U

And also from APP... Eve... if you look close you might see a theme that has some relevance to today.

When she was young and a-political her music was simply enchanting

one day please find a listening room specializing in high-end hi-fi systems and hear what an lp played on record player can sound like.

My grandmother would have turned right and driven around the block rather than make a left turn, so her interest in Streisand seems odd. I guess she separated her opinions about art from her opinions about politics.

An absolute necessity if you lean right.
