What's a good second lens?

I bought a DSLR camera last year and it came with a stock lens that's 18-50, f-3.5 - 5.6


I'm looking at buying another lens for it atm.


30mm f2.8 this is it here

What's better? I know with the first one I'll have to move in and out since it can't zoom but the quality of the pics would be really good in low light.

The zoom lens is a bit more practical though.
