OK so regardless of who you are, whose friend you are or how long you have been here and whether you are a moderator or not - b****ing about other TFSers on the forum is not allowed.
I have done it. We all have done it.
But standards have slipped and we have to bring them back up again. Which means we have to punch
ANY public flaming.
If you disagree with another poster be smart. Argue the point not the person behind it.
I fully expect a bollocking or punch if I do it and so should you.
I think some of you will agree, flaming has become quite common here and it was never tolerated before. So us Mods have to stop being lazy f***ers.
Sorry other Mods. I bet you hate me now

no worries though, there isn't a set formula that so many punches = automatic ban. If someone is getting close to that case where we think the punches are being blatantly ignored, we usually warn, with something like "cut it out already" or "final warning" exact wording depends on who throws the punch and the incident. So it's a clear choice to do something to warrant a ban.
(that being said I don't include time out bans in that, for when someone is really upset or drunk and needs time to calm down, before they do something worse, but those bans are usually for less than 1 day, Hell, I've had to give myself a time out ban before.)
and old punches do eventually go away, so if there was an incident a year ago, its not going to be held against you, the same way being reprimanded several times in the same thread would.

Oh... and make this fair warning.... To everyone.
If you are jokingly calling someone a name, cut it out or deal with the punch.
I'm tired of trying to remember who is friends and when it's a joke and its "ok" and when its a real flame.
I have a good memory but it's not good enough to remember who is friendly with who on any given day.
In the past, i've let things slide, if it seems to have been a joke between friends, (and that whole lazy part if no one was reporting it)
but with this new warning that will change.
When ever there is change normally something or someone has forced that change. May I ask what that was.
