This basically means that you are trusting other people to tell you what it says.

When you quote or reference biblical passages, you actually have no basis of knowledge to understand them...again, as you have stated that you will not read nor study the bible.

Ultimately you have no idea what you are talking about.

Your use of historicity is in peril, and highly inaccurate.

How would you know?

You've told us that you won't even read it, so you can't possibly know what it says... historically or otherwise.

In fact, if you happen to say anything accurate about it, it would be by pure chance.

2300 days. Sure. Or roughly 6.3 years. After the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar according to the book you cited. Which, as I said, would put the end of the period in the first half the fifth century before Christ.

And then..you go on to say that Christ is foretelling the coming of the end of this period that (according to you...because you say we're talking about days, not years), happened before he was born.

Foretelling something that you are saying happened centuries before the "foretelling."

And then...you criticize someone else for being historically inaccurate.

I find it more than a bit astonishing how frequently religious people quote the bible BUT how reluctant the same people are to actually read it.

Here on TFS I have found this to pretty much be the standard: The more religious someone is, the less willing to read the bible they turn out to be.



The bible is, apparently, the stuff of the devil.

E I was thinking the age ended in 2012. and we are now in Aquarius. Maybe that is why it has been raining so much.

I never read the bible but I did see the movie. Some say the book is better.
