Was there a stand in for the intro of Aaliyah's "Rock the Boat" video?

I just have a quick question that i don't expect anyone to answer anytime soon. In the 'rock the boat' video, the intro shows "Aaliyah" walking towards the camera but throughout the whole 8 second scene they never show her face. I suggested to my girlfriend that it was a stand in filmed after her death but she doesn't see how that makes sense because she says a)she had just died and doesn't think they would disrespect her memory by going back and using a stand in for the sake of a music video and B)she believes it was the same beach, same location (I think the location of the intro could have been anywhere). Can someone clear this up please. thanks

Could have been? But weren't all her shoots for the video already completed? My guess would be that it's her, sad story..

That's what I heard. But doesn't it seem a little odd to have such a heart warming intro of her walking across the beach and not show her actual face and then follow it by a song about hardcore sex. I dunno, this was sadly the topic of tonight. I just find it weird they didn't show her face and had a scene like that for a song like that.

Personally, I never even noticed that but like you a friend of mine said the same thing. I was told it was Michelle Williams of Destiny's Child but i didn't believe that either, So I guess there is really no telling.
