No. Not at all. I like it when the houses are split, because then, when nothing gets done, both sides get the blame.

And I have no problem with this guy standing up on a podium and proclaiming that Obama is an asshat. But, if he's going to do it, and do it as an ex-marine, then he needs to stand by his opinion, and accept the consequences..

What he did was call Obama an asshat, and then when he found out that his contract with GEICO didn't allow him to make public political statements, and that he'd stop making all that money, he turned tail and ran.. He thought that apologizing would make it all better..

The only thing it did was make him a s***ty marine.. So much for his code of honor.
