WSH & VB Scripting

I'm taking a required course in college. I have to learn the fundamentals of WSH and VB Scripting. The problem is unlike batch where a command can be interpreted easily and tells what the script is doing, with VB, I'm still having trouble relating functions and hosts. I was wondering if anyone has any tips or know of cheat sheets. Just something that can help me understand it all better so that I can do better in the class. Thanks.
