WHAT IS THE BEST ART COVER IN METAL ..

What is the best art cover in metal .. one of my faves is somewhere in time - iron maiden & also beneath the remains - sepultura ..

Iron Maiden - The Number of the Beast and AC/DC - Back In Black.

I'm assuming that means artwork on an album cover? if so mine are Iron Maiden "Killers" and Slayer 'Reign In Blood".

I like cradle of filth's and iron maidens, but cradle of filth's is more gothic thats why i like it

Iron Maiden definitely have great album covers. I also like the artwork for Trivium's "The Crusade" and Avenged Sevenfold's "City Of Evil". Although I'm sure someone will make a comment about the latter bands not being "real metal"

Mastodon - Leviathan has gorgeous artwork, in fact all their albums do. Actually, interestingly enough the guy who did the album artwork for Mastodon also did the album artwork for Trivium.

Also The Sword - Age of Winters.

I know I am going to get canned for this band as I don't think they would go into the genre of Metal, but TOOL's artwork is amazing.
