Virgin Media

Does anyone have virgin media?

My friend has mentioned getting it when we move but I don't trust her with a housephone.

I want to know more about it before I agree to getting it. I'm just looking on the website but I was hoping some of you guys might be able to give your opinions.

I heard loads of bad things about it.

I thought as much but apparently virgin media don't charge for installing the box

Yeah Sky does charge for installing the box, or it did the first time we got it.

i was thinking about this too, they do everything for ?26 - phone, mobile, cable etc. Well i pay ?45 alone just for sky tv.

but if its s*** then i wont bother.

Exactly, they charge through the roof and their channels are filled with total s***.

Depends what deal you get.. if you get a friend to introduce you you can get a number of options some are vouchers free installation etc.. look on ebay people are selling friend introductions for like a 1p. and you both make money out of it.. its a crazy money making scheme that works.. and is not illegal.

i quit my sky subscription,
its way too expensive, you get alot for your money granted ...but not much i actually want.
i only like about 10 channles

sky + would be perfect for me because i could just record stuff, i'm not big into channel surfing,
but thats more expensive again, screw em i say,
go with the cheaper option untill their price comes down to reasonable levels.
