USA VISA PAYING TAXES

I do a lot of surfing in usa. On my prize money, and any usa backing I get i have to file a tax return; and pay on my net income. Since I pay taxes here why can't I have immediate dual citizenship.

Unfortunately, even if I have a residence in usa for 5 years, i would have to give up my Aussie citizenship. usa no longer has dual.

Give up your Australian citizenship. It's been a s*** country since the last federal election.

the US doesn't recognize dual citizenship, but that doesn't mean that Australia doesn't (thought I don't know Australia's policy on the subject). My husband had to "formally" renounce any other citizenships when he became a US citizen, but Canada still considers him a citizen. If the US wants to turn a blind eye to any other citizenships, it effects no other country but itself.
