Buddy should be able to heal up to start his second term and ready himself for the next impeachment.

I think it needs to be said that over 200,000 American citizens will never "heal up" and it must be wondered how many might have still been alive now had Mr Trump taken the Covid virus seriously at an earlier date and acted accordingly.

As far as a second term, we shall have to wait and see. Maybe, even though it looks pretty certain that he will once again lose the popular vote, pwrhaps with the help of The Proud Boys and then the Supreme Court, he just might swing it his way

Impeachment? The success of impeachment proceedings seems to revolve around numbers in the Senate and Congress rather than any particular notion of right or wrong. Maybe, if he does win a second term, the numbers might not be in his favour this time.

I note that Trump is a very competent businessman. He has built over a hundred businesses and not one of them has turned a profit in years, yet Trump lives in the lap of luxury that only the 'rich and famous' enjoy and pays no income tax.
It is no wonder that he shows no regard whatsoever for the poor, the blacks, the Latin's, the native Americans, the gays, the lesbians. Only fellow Fat Cats and white Americans gets Trump's approval and support.

Where do you get that he's a competent businessman? He has declared corporate bankruptcy 6 times! What he is good at is being an actor, like on his reality show. Who keeps giving this white guy money? He has a personal outstanding debt of $421 million dollars.

trump is a competent business man in the business of trump. Just like Kim Jong Un is a great leader of his country.

I assumed that geo79ner was being a bit tongue in cheek, ironic, whatever. That success in business revolves around living a sumptuous lifestyle, nothing lacking, while paying no tax. Making "losses" is the name of the game.

Reading a few biographical details it appears to me that Donald Trump, if he had not inherited money, would, in a genuine meritocracy, have risen maybe to the level of a stock replenishment executive AKA shelf filler.

Unfortunately, he has become one of the most powerful and influential men in our world.

If Nancy won't come to terms on the stimulus then yes, put that aside and wait.

Maybe Trump gets back to it maybe he doesn't.

I say let us all go back to work, burn through the pandemic, and be done with it.

Trump, like Kim Jong Un, is not the one making the decisions. Doubtless he makes some decisions by virtue of his ability to speak to the press or tweet at will. This is something Kim Jong probably cannot do. His job is more to sell the decisions to the public. Trump uses intentionally rash rhetoric designed to appeal to a certain voter base. The decisions he's selling are often not his own.

I think trump and kim are both childish enough to think they know better and will demand to overrule the experienced decisions to please their own juvenile desires.
