Did anyone hear the interview where Trump talks about his relationship with black people? Did he just declare or volunteer this information out of the blue or was he asked about it by whoever was conducting the interview ?
I have a great relationship with the blacks," Trump said earlier this week in a radio interview.
As far as him calling African-American people black , it's been said by more then one black person here on TFS that they would rather be called black then to be called African-Americans . So why is it an issue that he called black people , black ?
As far as the birth certificate issue is concerned , it seems that Trump got caught up in the well laid trap that most republicans have been caught up in . Maybe at some point the republicans will get figure it out and start paying attention to the important issues, leaving the unimportant ones to fall by the wayside.
Obama, meantime, maintains that the right's obsession with his birth certificate is hurting, not helping, the Republican party.
The issue "creates, I think, a problem for them when they want to actually run in a general election where most people feel pretty confident the president was born where he says he was, in Hawaii. He doesn't have horns,” Obama said in an ABC interview broadcast on Friday.
