Holy f+ck

Somehow a trojan got onto my computer... onto a particular user file. McAfee couldn't delete it or clean it.

If I delete the user file will it get rid of the trojan or am I screwed?

I have that same problem. Sucks huh. If I figure anything out I'll let you know.

try scanning your computer. Once you find the file press "cancel". Select the unwanted file and press delete. It should say are you sure you want to delete (file name.) Then go to start and go to search. Search for (file name.) When it finds it, right click it and click delete.

My husband has a whole s*** load of clean up virus thingys on our computer. So I basically turn the thing over to him, and let him have his way, then when I get it back. It's all squeaky clean.

But I guess that doesn't really help you, does it?
