Scottish Conservative MP David Mundell has been hit by a pie during a visit to St Andrews in Fife.

Mr Mundell was confronted and heckled by student protesters near the town's Queen's Gardens.

It was so not a waste of a pie. Tory bashing is a perfectly acceptable reason to sacrfice a pie. Just a shame he didn't throw anything slightly harder. The pie had better have been hot at least.

David Mundell walked past me and a few protesters a couple of months ago. A few people shouted 'Tory Scum' at him. I actually felt sorry for him as he looked scared and I actually felt embarrassed that I was with people calling another human being Scum.
