Too much pride...

I think I have too much pride. I know I do. I never admit when I'm wrong. I'm so stubborn. I never apologize first. Arguements will last for a long time and it takes me a while to realize it's because of me sometimes. I hate knowing that. And I never fix it. I don't even know if it can be fixed or dealt with. I just can't bring myself to get over my pride. It's ugly.
Is anyone else like this? Or are you around anyone that is like this?

i think we all are from time to time... it's hard to admit it when youre wrong...

at least you're aware of it... most people have trouble identifying their own flaws...

All the time, lol. I'm starting to just ignore it. It's who I am to want the final answer to be the right one.

I don't feel human! I know everyone goes through stuff like this but I feel like I'm like this all the time. And I get sick of people telling me. My mother, my sister, my boyfriend and people at my old job. It's so annoying. Maybe it is normal and I'm overreacting. I just don't like "knowing" it, you know what I mean? Thinking, "s***, we didn't talk for 6 hours straight because I was being an a*****e". That's a bad feeling.

I have pride in what I do and in my actions, but I am not afraid of humiliation either. I think the trick is accepting that we have faults...in your case, your sense of pride...and airing them out.

How do I know I accept humiliation?

I was about to click "post" but then I stabbed myself in the gums with the fork I was eating watermelon with!
