Ripped off.

A lady friend of mine had trouble with her car exhaust, so she took it to the garage and had a new one fitted. She was soon around to mine asking me what the terrible rattling noise was.

I am no mechanic but spotted a small tin full of pennies wired to the exhaust.

Fortunately she is in the RAC and they took pictures of this and will also take up the case on her behalf against the garage.

They explained that some garages pick upon women and deliberately do this sort of thing to get more money out of them when they bring the car back.
