Time Travel???

Whats the point??? I mean, if we cant change anything because it could mean catastrophic circumstances why bother?

Did anyone see the Simpsons when Homer had that toaster that transported him back in time and he kept treading on stuff and breaking stuff?

Do you think it would ever be possible and if so what would be the point?

History lessons would be awesome though, and maybe we if we actually witnessed some of the things from the past it would change the sort of person we are.

I really hate the idea of knowing the future though

I agree i dotn want to know what is going to happen.

I think if we could go back in time we would learn to appreciate things, and not take so much for granted. It would change peoples outlook and perspective on things for the better i think.

Ive read a s*** load about time travel being a sci fi freak.. and ive come to the conclusion....

But i think how time works is interesting, so if we can slow time down that would be an advantage, for medical resons like stasis.. but actually back to the future style time travel... yikes...

Its called a paradox... Or the grand father theory... you go back in time kill you grand father before he had your dad what would happen to you??

This may blow your head up... apprently you cant do it, because you would not excist to go back in time to do it.. but then theres the parallel universe theory.. that ever time you time travel and change the past.. you would come back to another universe..

It makes your head explode.. but i think if you did get next weeks lotto numbers that wont do any thing to you because your from today not saturday night.. if you went back to give you the numbers to yourself.. then that would cause alot of problems to yourself.. apprently.. *head pops*

but we only know that because of sci-fi and theory, (in my case the simpsons and futurama) I guess we wont know ever

It's like in Terminator films (!!). If you're successful in your mission in the
past, it would negate the reason to go back in time in the first place.
It goes around in circles.

Best time travel thing ever made was the butterfly effect.. that is exact to how the theory works of time travel...

Oh yes... there are loads of them now... but most of them are a little too crazy... on guy is using lazers in a tube... bu there are a few trying to prove particals that time travel called tacions?? i think.. then they want to use them to time travel....

I just cant see why they dont use that brain to get laid instead...

If we do discover time travel in the future, why haven't those time travelers started showing up in our time?
