Greek authorities stamp out peaceful protests at the lighting of the Olympic flame in Anthens.

I think it will be a long journey to China for that light and there will be peaceful protests at every step of the way.

Those police bastards, detaining and arresting people running around restricted areas past official barricades to wave banners at the camera while a speaker is talking.

It gets the message across though, doesn't it?

I wouldn't blame the police in this, nor the protesters. The police are doing their job and the
protesters are doing what's right.

It's a long time before the games in China and the world at large will know by then, as if they don't already, just how oppressive the Chinese government is not only to their own people but to the people of Tibet that they invaded.

As long as the protests are peaceful I agre with them every step of the way.
