There's now a new dress to wear just for delivering your baby.

I'm reading Redbook and they're advertising a dress to wear just to have your baby. Forgive me, ARE THEY NUTS? Any woman who has had a baby will probably agree, if you haven't you will. When I was having my 8 1/2 lb. son I didn't care if the Armed Forces, president or anyone else came, I wanted him out of there. Babies come when they're ready, I'm going to ruin a dress for this; be real. I didn't care what I looked like, how loud I screamed or what anybody thought. When it's show time, hell with the outfit. Get that baby delivered.!!!!!!!!!!!

That's hilarious. Hmm the only "dress" I was allowed to wear was my birthday suit!

I wore one when I delivered, it was part of my birthing plan. My OB was great about making sure what I wanted happened. It's not that far fetched if you're planning on a totally natural birth.

I wore an elequent gown, a hospital gown

I wanted totally natural. But it did NOT want me.

I have a few friends that didn't even do hospital births. They went to birthing centers.

The really hippy establishments where you give birth in a tub or on the bed with no drugs available at all.

we have birthing centres here, but they have drugs and stuff as well

The closest birthing center was too far or else that's where I would've gone...that and my insurance wouldn't cover it

yea these one's are 'O'Natural!'




You need some medicine?

I've not had the oppertunity, nor will I as, I am done having kids, unless fate/God has different plans for me, but I've heard that sometimes, those tubs are more effective for pain than the drugs. I didn't feel a thing with my epidural. Well, until it wore off

You also have to remember, there are some that even will come to your house, and let you give birth there.

Yea, I know. I have a crazy friend who wanted to have her son at her house. But she lived too far away from the midwife.

when I went to the hospital, the first they they had me do was get out of my dress and put on a hospital gown. I didn't know they'd let you keep your clothes on.

You can keep a night gown or whatever on here.
