These are hard economic times and politics is a complex game, sometimes campaign promises can't be held or cannot be implemented immediately, they're long term goals over 4 years and hopefully more.

Generally they are a direction to travel towards and not an instant change.

You can't please everyone all the time.

"Im worried about this aspect of obamas policy and administration because...." but since this propaganda keeps getting peddled it's almost detramental to your cause, it inspires rolls of the eye towards you and not yelps of outrage at Obama.

Oh, and that 600 rebate only went out to those making over a certain about per year. I think it was 75,000. In the mean time, he paid for it by raising taxes on those who made under 30,000 per year, and cutting EIC by over half. So baisically, so Bush could give the haves what is equal to pocket change to them, he milked it out of the have not's pockets.

Oh, wait, I'm sorry, I misread that!!! Okay, that's right, it was only talking about the 08 rebates, not the travisty that I refered to. My apologies. Well, that's a misuse of the numbers, as, I only recieved 900 total. I got the full 300 per child, but I only got 300 for myself. So, if the minimum I could get was 600 then I was shorted 300. Obviously, the ESP was misreprested because it should have read

"$300-$900 plus $300 per child."
