The newest apple product---The Ipod Series

Anyone here has an Ipod, I have a gold Ipod mini with all accesories, but I have a small problem, I'm only able to upload 867 songs and the Ipod is full, further more, the words seems to be deformed and the menu button doesn't work prperly, any suggestions on how to fix it, please help!

You should contact Apple directly because it sounds like there's something wrong with the computer chip inside.

Just want to clarify it's not guaranteed to hold 1,000 songs, that's just based on 128kb/s with songs 4 minutes long. They just say 1,000 so people don't have to figure it out for themselves. The rest sounds like the iPod's screwing up.
