The intelligent people at NASA have got some type of return on their multi-multi-multi billion dollar investment.

Yeah, apparently they have stumbled upon 'dozens of earth like planets'.

I am just wondering what makes them like earth?

Is it the green hills, the snow capped mountains, the blue sky, the vast oceans, the human life, the animals and plants, the rivers and cities, or is it just some joker spoted an ounce of H20 and called the rock earth like.

Anyway, we're very lucky that Bono is taking care of world poverty on his multi-multi-multi million dollar world tour.

Because if two entities, each consisting of infinity factors, are compared and found to have 100, 200 or even 1000 common factors they are not alike.

Just because a large rock floating through the heavens has some H2O and similar sized orbit does mean it is Earth like.
Just because another rock floating through the heavens has oxygen and nitrogen in its atmosphere does not mean it is Earth like.

Satan tempts humans into the heavens and he deceives them with all sorts of fancy notions, this latest one is just another.

It's just us and God, not us, God and some super race of highly advanced beings who will save us. Your Salvation has already been. Reject it or accept it.

Surely "Earth-like" would be a reasonable statement for something that had Earth-like qualities?

Agreed, that alone does not make them identicle, but I don't see why you feel that the use of Earth-like is the work of Satan.

The ack man lives in a world of black and white, right and wrong, true and false.. There is no middle ground.

So, in his neat little world, an earth-like planet must be an exact copy of our planet, or it is not earth-like. Simply being about the same size, composition, distance from sun and chemical composition isn't enough.
