We pride ourselves greatly on our intelligence, our ability to feel for others and resolve problems in logical and rational ways. However why don't we take a look at stupidity, the complete opposite and compare the two. As I have previously mentioned, I have recently studied the Dungeons and Dragons alignment system. A month ago I discovered the stupid counterparts for Stupid Good, Evil, Law, Chaos. I would like to offer my code of Lawful Stupid. I hope in time that some of you will come forward and present your own codes to help shed some light on the very unique principles.

My Ten Lawful Stupid Commandments

1. You shall lie without shame if asked to by the law.

2. You shall kill if instructed to by the law without question.

3 You shall harm the innocent if the law commands it without
second thought.

4. You shall follow fashion, even if it does not suit you.

5. You shall honour authority above yourself without thinking
about it.

6 You shall follow popular belief, even if your health is affected.

7. You shall be idle if in the midst of an accident and do nothing.

8. You shall purchase what is popular without thinking about it.

9. You shall betray others if the law requires it.

10. You shall blindly curtail freedom of others if the law wishes it.

Might I ask why there have been no responses? I thought this thread might promote interest, or perhaps even humor. I would appreciate some feedback at least, seeing as this alignment does have relevance in the real world. It would be interesting to discuss it as a realistic concept.

Does this go under literature or game discussion?

I would say literature, because D&D is a very potent source for literary ideas. The words of the commandments are designed to provoke though, put pen to paper, or hands to keys. I wish to make my own D&D stories and the books published from the authors of wizards of the coast is the stuff of legends. Has been since D&D?s conception in the late 70?s.
