Does anyone know what the breakdown of outer space is?

Is it:

The universe is everything, and it is divided into galaxies and galaxies consist of planets?

Is that the outer space division? Or am I missing something?

This looks like a test question , so it actually depends.

Outer space is the "void", actually a hard vacuum, between all celestial bodies containing a low density of particles.
The Universe is everything and what is contained therein
