How is it that if you are found guilty of culpable driving whilst your license is suspended, or if you have no license at all, your sentence is the same as it would be had you been driving legally. Seriously, WTF

Australian governments really need to get their act together and put into place long term strategies for helping our farmers prepare for and cope with drought. Public driven band aid solutions when the problem gets critical shouldnt be deemed an acceptable response. That said it's been really good to see how many people have contributed to organisations set up to provide drought relief.

Clearly everything in the world is going so well that the UN have had time to inject themselves into a pc makeover for Thomas the Tank Engine.

Well it's that time of the year...swooping time! Already seeing stories in social and mainstream media about how to protect yourself from maggies. But in truth the simplest way is to feed the buggers over the winter. I was out walking yesterday and whilst some people were being swooped 'my' maggies left me alone. They know not to swoop the hand that feeds them!

Good to see the self righteous and selectively outraged are at it again...this time getting their pc panties in a knot over a cartoon. Criticism of Mark Knight's cartoon it yet further evidence that the world has gone way too PC. The sanctimonious outrage is also yet another example of the hypocrisy of the pc brigade. Oh, and poor behaviour in any sport should be, and needs to be, called out...no matter who the culprit is.

When I was a teen in America I wanted to move to Oz

Now that I reside right next door to it I really wouldn't want to visit even on holiday.

Primarily because of s*** like this:

Now the dude is spitting web lines from his dong and often seen swinging through Oz's larger cities fighting crime.

Reminds me a wee bit of a sheila in SA who within about 2 seconds was bitten by red back and a brown snake. Gotta be unlucky.

A student in Melbourne has taken Monash Uni to court after he failed an assignment. He lost his case and the Uni was awarded costs. But it doesnt end there. He has now taken his case before the blatantly left wing Victorian Equal Opportunities and Human Rights Commission. Unfortunately for him his assignment wasnt on one of the lefts hobby horses so he will probably have no more luck with the Victorian Equal Opportunities and Human Rights Commission than he had with the courts. Just exactly why they are even entertaining his case in the first place is somewhat of a mystery.

Don't want to hear any Christmas songs about bloody snow. Christmas is typically btw 25-40c. The only white stuff to be seen outside is the sand at the beach...and zinc cream.
