I know this might be a little bit early but I'd like to hear predictions on what Detroit's record will be next season, these are the teams they are scheduled to play against:

Home: Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals, St. Louis Rams, Washington Redskins, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers

Away: Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, New Orleans Saints, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals

Considering this is a pretty easy schedule...

My own prediction is that next year the Lions will be maybe... 4-12, after all not all of the teams they're playing are pushovers.

How do you know who they are playing next year? The schedule doesn't come out till April?

We're gonna have a GREAT team!! We shall be 15-1, our only loss coming to those pesky Cincinnati Bengals.

You actually think that's a pretty easy schedule?

It's a heck of a lot easier than the Dallas Cowboys' schedule.

It's designed to be easier. Dallas had a better record. But when an 0-16 team has a schedule that includes Pittsburgh, Arizona and Baltimore I don't consider that easy. The NFC North is enough of a challenge.

Well not all the teams on the schedule are push-overs but here's how I see it in terms of how likely they are to beat the teams on their schedules:

Probable - Lambs, Browns, Bengals

Questionable - Packers, Bears, Redskins, Seahawks, 49ers, Ravens

Doubtful - Vikings, Steelers, Cardinals, Saints

What I mean by this is:

Probable - 75% chance or higher to win

Questionable - 50/50 (As in it is quite possible that the Lions can pull off a win)

Doubtfull - 25% chance or lower

The way I see it with the opponents that the Lions have and if they draft wisely they should be able to at least pull of something around 4-12

Drafting wisely is certainly key and historically Detroit's drafting has been rather questionable at best. But now with Matt Millon gone and a new hierarchy of coaches, managers and such it should be interesting at least.
I really would like to see Drew Stanton start at QB. I've been a fan of his since he played for Michigan State.
