Can you quote any passages which seem to refer specifically to the collection of canonised texts called the Holy Bible, the collection which the church considered to be divinely inspired, to the exclusion of all other texts? Do you realise that the Old Testament existed well before Christ came into the world? So that is more than half of the Holy Bible.
As for the New Testament, the following was adhered to, in order to ensure that it is all Truth.
Leviticus 19:12
" 'Do not swear falsely by my name and so profane the name of your God. I am the LORD.
This had to be followed, as many things are divinely inspired, yet much of them are false and demonic. These things were not included in the New Testament for obvious reasons.
