Anyone else buying this magazine? I guess there must be tons of people out there buying it cos it's a rush to get it before it's gone It's awesome. I'm making a pretty throw and the way the pattern is makes it all wavy and it's three colours in it. I picked three shades of brown cos it'll match the couch. And I'm looking forward to finishing the main feature - the vintage throw. Square-by-square baby!

I can't get to grips with knitting. I prefer the one-handed bit with crochet. Much quicker, too.

It was what I learned to do first. When I was little my gran would knit me hats with ear flaps because I kept getting ear infections so one time when she was making one I demanded to know how she did it. It was a few years until I had the finger-strength to do it but it fascinated me.

It's what I learned first too. Mum tried to teach me to knit but I couldn't cope with two needles. I love crochet and I'm so pleased that I've been nudged back into doing it.
