My room is in need of redecorating and I am unsure of how to go about it. I am 15 and have interests in video games, rock music and manga/anime. I am wondering how the best way to redecorate my room, incorporating one of those interests, would be? My room has a sloping roof, so I can't use raised/bunk beds. I'm not too fussed over a particular colour really. I am also thinking I could just have a quite modern 'cool' looking bedroom.

Does anybody have any ideas on how I could get a good looking room using the ideas above? (I doubt I'll have too big a budget really, as it would be my parents paying for everything )

Cheers

Your room and interests sounds like my son. We painted his sloped walls a light grey and the bottoms a darker grey. The end wall we painted brown, and hung his guitar there - bought a mod design comforter set for his bed.
For his tv, electronics and game stuff we got industial shelving. His different lamps and such all have metal finishes on them.
It looked very cool - until he hung posters everywhere.

*looks up*

Try to mesh all your interests in one. When I lived at home I had one wall that was a collage of pictures, postcards, magazine pictures. police do not cross tape (it was real too!), bumperstickers, drawings, and whatnot. Everybody loved it and all my friends added to it.

As for a bedset, pick something that fits your personality

I have wondered about collage walls but I'm not sure if they'd work with my room as I don't have any walls that are really the right size or shape for one. One wall is really small, due to the sloped roof another has a big window on it. And I got cupboards and stuff that take up other wall space on the other walls. I'll bare it in mind though.
