T9 Method

T9 method drives me crazy!! But also it makes me laugh because a couple of my mates use it and sometimes if they forget to press down and select the right word, you end up with something totally random and it takes ages to decipher. For example today, I suggested meeting up with a mate, and received a reply reading THAT WOULD BE REALLY BAD and was confused and slightly offended..turned out it was meant to say THAT WOULD BE REALLY ACE Phew!!
Another mate once told me he was sacred. I was like, um, you're awesome and I'd probably say you were sacred but what's come over you? It was meant to say scared.
Anyone else had any misunderstandings because of T9 method?

Someone said I was their bequeath friend..instead of bestest friend

I use predictive text as my preferred way of texting but the other week my friend had to ring me to find out what I had texted because she said it had gone through to her as gibberish although on my sent messages it read ok.
When she read it back to me I burst out laughing!

When I was in Spain my sis texted me from my mum's phone. She said "I miss you too much" It came out as I Eaps you may nuch

I didn't know you could select other words by hitting down

I usually use ABC but now I will go back to T9 maybe

I hate it when my phone wants to complete words for me, cause it always get's it wrong!

I sms the old way.. pushing the damn numbers until my thumb bleeds!

I used it for the first time last weekend... cause I upgraded. No bad experiences yet... but then I am very accurate

- oh, and the word they put up as the most common, I always want the word that is second in the list, always second!
