While we were on holiday we were all chatting and one of my friends has never tried baked beans, this is what she asked/said:

"So what's in beans? Is it Mashed Potato? 'Cause it looks like mashed potato"

"I don't like tomato soup though, and that's what's over beans isn't it?"

"How do they make beans?"



She has also asked before if sheep lay eggs

I prefer to think of people like this as ill-informed or 'sheltered' rather than stupid. Not knowing where beans or eggs come from doesn't mean you are dumb, it just means you probably skip school heaps & your parents buy a LOT of take-out.
